The trailer could be referring to Dredgen Yor himself appearing, or Thorn itself being saved. However, I am just as willing to buy the alternate theory that Thorn may be saved for the Drifter’s Joker’s Wild DLC, as it would certainly fit in thematically there, and that's what the trailer suggests. That leads me to believe that it’s possible Bungie did slip a secret exotic into this first batch of content, and if so, that could be Thorn.
